Terms and Conditions
1. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the Site. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your own system, we cannot guarantee that you will receive product with precisely the same colour as your monitor showed. All products have been fairly described and the weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only. Packaging may vary from that shown.

2. All items are subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale at any time should it not meet our high quality standards.

3. All information including prices are correct at the time of publishing and include (in Europe) VAT. We make every effort to maintain prices, although it may be necessary to change prices either up or down.

4. The price we charge will be that quoted on the site at the time you place your order. However, you may find a different price should you look on our site at a different time. Some of our processes are manual, so despite our best efforts and constant monitoring, errors will inevitably occur from time to time. On discovering that errors exist, we act immediately to rectify them and to minimise inconvenience and any disappointment that might be caused.

5. As well as selling over the Internet, we sell our product through Mail Order (throughout the world). Normally, prices on the Internet are the same as the prices in catalogues currently being mailed, or on offer in our shops. However, prices may differ with a catalogue (or a shop) because: (i) We have a Special Offer on the Internet, in a Catalogue or in a Shop (ii) The catalogue you have may have been replaced by a more up to date catalogue. As a result, we cannot guarantee that all prices are the same. If you believe that you can get a better price from a catalogue, we are happy to take your order over the phone. Shop prices can only be met in the shop where the goods are offered.

6. We will endeavour to deliver your order within the delivery times quoted on the site (28 days). You should note restrictions described on the site with regard to last delivery dates before holiday periods (such as Christmas) and for Express deliveries in the UK.

7. A delivery charge will be made for all orders. The charge will be quoted to you at the time you place an order. Occasionally, if an item is out of stock, we will despatch part of your order to you - with the remainder following later. The delivery charge will be levied when the first part of the order is sent to you.

8. All offers are subject to merchandise availability.

9. In all respects, English law governs all contracts formed between The Bronte Society and customers as a result of using this site. All users hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Until a customer's credit or debit card has been charged for the sale of our products or services, no contract will exist or apply between a customer and The Bronte Society. The charging of the customer's card will be deemed our acceptance of their offer and the effective communication of our acceptance to them. This is to be interpreted and enforced with the laws of England in its entirety and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

10. We are very happy with the quality of the products we sell and hope you will feel the same way about them. However, if for any reason you don’t, please return them to us unused and in the original packaging and we will be happy to exchange or refund the item(s) at the original purchase price excluding delivery costs. Please note we are not responsible for return postage other than for incorrect or faulty items. Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for parcels that fail to reach us, so always obtain a certificate of posting as proof of return. This does not affect your statutory rights.
