MUSEUM CLOSED JANUARY 2012- The museum will be closed from 3 - 31 January 2012, re-opening on Wednesday 1 February.

A Horror of Great Darkness - A LEVEL GOTHIC CONFERENCE - Friday 24 February - The museum is hosting a one day conference for AS and A2 students exploring the relationship between the Brontės and Gothic literature, and how the genre continues to influence contemporary culture. The day is primarily aimed at students, but if members of the public are interested in attending there may be spaces available. A Horror of Great Darkness, Gothic from the Brontes to Twilight: A one day conference at the museum, exploring the Brontės' relationship with the gothic through a programme of events, talks and lectures. The day is primarily aimed at A- Level students but there may be places available for interested members of the public.
